Introduction.

Every problem that humanity have had can be traced back to a lack of knowledge. Any time you get knowledge, on a subject, the problem ceases to be a problem. But what is knowledge? Knowledge is awareness, data, education, familiarity, and information. It is important to know that knowledge does not drop out of the sky. You have to go seek it. As a new Christian it is important to know that the Church is a hostile place. You cannot make it inside there if you are dumb.

Proverbs 11:9-AV An hypocrite with [his] mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Proverbs 24:4-AV And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

HOW TO SURVIVE IN THE CHURCH.

The new Christian cannot survive in the Church without knowledge, and knowledge comes through reading of the scriptures. There is not enough time to teach a new believer every thing that is important to their spiritual welfare. The new believer has to take the time to add to his or her own faith for it to be a success. Prayer is another tool that new believers will have to learn to use. How to approach God? There are numerous books and web sites that offer free materials. Fasting is another equipment that a new believer will need to learn about, and how to do it. This will furnish the new believer with additional power. Witnessing is another part of the equipment that we must have. If you are not sharing your faith Satan will think that you are discouraged and will attack you in full force. Just like how a boxer sees his opponent is wobbling and attacks him in his weak state with all his might trying to finishes him off. It is the same way Satan does to a Christian. If you are not sharing your faith, Satan will think you are wobbling and attack you in full force.

DEALING WITH PEOPLE IN THE CHURCH

Colossians 2:6-AV As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in him: Colossians 2:7-AV Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:8-AV Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

1 Corinthians 7:23-AV Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.) One of the things a new Christian is going to run into are men spoiler. The church is full of people who will try to spoil you. A person can preach holiness and spoil you by what they are saying. Some preachers want angelic holiness out of new converts.

Matthew 23:4-AV For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay [them] on men's shoulders; but they [themselves] will not move them with one of their fingers.)( When God saves a person he gives them their own speed. There is a time set by God for you to mature. A person can cause you to move a head too fast, or drop behind. If you push a head too fast you will meet obstacles that you cannot handle and backslide. If you lag behind to far Satan will pick you off from the back. There are manipulators and covetous people in the churches. Lets say you found this book/ web site on your own, and got saved here, some will tell you not to visit this site again. People get saved by reading my gospel tracts and the pastors of their church tell them to beaware of my books when it is the same books that got them saved. You have to beaware of men, men who are blind spiritually, and men of corrupt mind.

KNOWING SPIRITUAL PEOPLE.

It is important for a new Christian to know that, not all spiritual manifestation are from God. Not because you see a person jumping and shouting, speaking in tongues, and falling on the floor this does not mean that all that going on is of God. Satan People as well as God people come in all size, all shape, some come jumping and shouting while some come silent as a grave yard. You have to train your mind not to be bias.

1Corinthians 14:6-AV Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

2 Corinthians 6:6-AV By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

UNDERSTANDING YOUR OWN LIMITATIONS.

One of the first obstacle a new converted person runs into after getting saved is problem with their inner self. This take years to control and some people are never able to overcome this in a practical sense. They overcome on the grounds of what Jesus has done for them because of the righteousness that Jesus has banked on their spiritual account. Another problem is the Christian instinct comes in conflict with teachings of the Church.

Romans 7:18-AV For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but [how] to perform that which is good I find not. Romans 7:19-AV For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Romans 7:20-AV Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Romans 7:21-AV I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. Romans 7:22-AV For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Romans 7:23-AV But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Ephesians 3:16-AV That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

2 Corinthians 4:16-AV For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:17-AV For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory; 2 Corinthians 4:18-AV While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. )( Inner self is our human spirit, and our instinct which we were born with .

DEALING WITH SEX INSTINCTS KNOWN AS REPRODUCTIVE INSTINCT.

The Bible teaches sexual self control, because, as God begins to reveal himself to a believer, the people of the world is going to hate that believer, because of that revelation. They will send their wives or young daughters over to cast dirt upon your reputation. If the believer has no control over his or her sex life they will fall into every trapp that is set for them. You could be heading for the Jail. Even though a believer will never fully get over this problem, if they have the sexual gift, they have to exercise sense and common sense with it. Especially for a man, if words get around that you have problem in this area even your wife will use sex to control you. Then the wife get cocky, because she see herself as the keeper and the strength of your faith. Not only that. But the disease that are out there, some of these disease, condom cannot prevent it having on six condoms at one time cannot help. Some can lie dormant in the body for years before emerge. When your health gone in today world. It is over for you. When the Lord help you and take you out of the pollution that are in the world, you must be thankful and try not to get entangle in it again.

1 Peter 2:11-AV Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

1 Timothy 5:14-AV I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

KNOWING YOUR CALLING BEFORE YOU TRY TO SEEK A SPOUSE.

Many Christians do well right up to the time when they get married. Then their faith take a downward plunge the time they get married, because they have been dragged down by their spouse. There are three groups of people in the Church. One group is call the " false brethren" The carnal believers, and the mature believers.

SAVED BUT CARNAL.

1 Corinthians 3:1-AV And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:3-AV For ye are yet carnal: for whereas [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Satan has almost full control over a carnal believer because there is envying, strife, and division among this group. When a mature believer gets married to a immature one it never works. The carnal one drag down the born again believer. Carnal mean immature. The carnal believers is truly saved, but are immature in God. The mature believer cannot bring the immature believers up to maturity. It is only the Holy Spirit that can lift this group up to maturity. The false brethren is another group. This group is planted in the Church by Satan directly to marry to born again and zealous Christians, then trap the born again Christians. The false brethren and the carnal believers are good people, the best the world has to offer. But just as iron and clay cannot mix so these two cannot understand a born again person.

John 3:8-AV The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit". Since the carnal Christian is not walking in obedience to the spirit of God, nor the word of God a successful marriage between such and a mature believer is impossible.

MARRIED BETWEEN MATURE BELIEVERS WITH CONFLICTING CALLING

For example. One is called by Christ to be a missionary while the other is called to be a pastor. The missionary is a moving person. While a pastor's calling do not permit he/or she to keep moving. One is like a duck, who always want to swim, while one is like chicken, who do not love the water at all. The two might love each other, but when time came to relocate problem started. The missionary want to relocate to another field when the work is establish, while the pastor want to stay. When these two get married, it never go smooth.

A NEW BELIEVER IS NOT EQUIPT TO KNOW THE CARNAL BELIEVERS.

It takes time and dedication to pick up on them. The tares can be found out, the servant was able to see them and report it to the master. However, if we are looking for bad things to pop up in the people character so we can know if they are good are bad. It might not happen. We will never see it happen because that is not what make them, false, or carnal.

STAY WITH THE CHURCH THAT YOU GOT SAVED IN.

Move out only under two conditions: if they drive you out or God moves you out. But do not let people invites you away, from the Church you got saved in.

1 Corinthians 7:24-AV Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

I believe that a religious person must remain with their original group, especially if the fellowship is good. I do not pull people away from their religion. I have friends who are Muslims and I do not set out to pull them away from what they have. A person can find God in any religion. In fact God is not lost. He is not far from any of us.

Acts 17:27-AV That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: Acts 17:28-AV For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

DO NOT SET HOLY GOAL.

Especially where sex is concerned. Do not underestimate the sex drive. Some Christians base their salvation, on do and don'ts. "I never had sex since I got saved, so I am saved". "I hide and did it yesterday so I am not saved now". Remember that you are not living holy to get salvation. You are living holy so as to fulfil the work that God would have you to fulfil here on earth. God also have given you extra grace, are extra chances, until you became mature in him. It is a daily walk. Perfection is at the top of the ladder and you are striving toward it. All the verses concerning "Do not sin" is a goal, or a standard that we must strive toward. It is not a measuring rod, to determine if we are fit for heaven.

KNOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE PEOPLE HE DWELL IN.

A new Christians should take time to learn about the Holy Spirit. There are many false spirit in the churches posing themselves as the Holy Spirit and are possessing people. There are two books that you will need to purchase. "God's plan for man" By finis Jennings Dake. Another book is. Dake's Annotated reference Bible. Now many pastors do not like Dake's work, because he is too advance for them. This man's work will get you on your way.

THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.

Any time a person is filled with the spirit of God, there are certain qualities that the bible call "Fruits" That will be visibly in the person life. The shouting and getting in spirits is not what you must look at. These fruits are the silent evidences that the person is a child of God.

Galatians 5:22-AV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:23-AV Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Ephesians 5:9-AV (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;

Luke 6:35-AV But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and [to] the evil.

THE HOLY SPIRIT DO NOT READ PEOPLE FACE.

1Corinthians 14:33-AV For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Hebrews 5:9-AV And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;)( Any thing that causes contention in the church is not of the spirit of God.

KNOWING SATANIC SPIRITS.

A new Christian will not get far in the faith if he or she do not know Satan spirits, who are posing themselves to be the holy spirit. I have books on these two subjects. And many articles on my web site that a new believer can down loaded. Free.

DEALING WITH PEOPLE ON THE JOB.

Dealing with people on the job is going to be another big obstacle for a new Christian, because Satan do not want Christians to hold jobs. Jobs mean money, money mean spreading the gospel. You cannot live under a bridge, and you cannot eat grass. Hungry man cannot preach, pray nor, worship. Satan will try to nock you out your job. You have to know how to behave on the job.

Timothy 6:2-AV And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them], because they are brethren; but rather do [them] service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

Ephesians 6:6-AV Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; Ephesians 6:7-AV With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: A Christian man was teaching at a certain school, the people plan to fire him then fix it that he cannot get any more job in that field of work. When people on the job finish with me, I could not even get a job to feed roaches. I could not even get a dog house to rent. One man saw me working and said to me, "Mr. McBean you are a hard man to kill."

YOU ARE CALLED INTO A FRONT LINE BATTLE FIELD.

The world do not like good people. Some people in the Church do not like those who are zealous.

DEALING WITH DEMONS IN THE CHURCH.

Any time a new believer begins to grow in grace, right there in the Church, Satan stirs up fire under them.

IF YOU DO NOT KNOW IT:

2Corinthians 2:11-AV Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. )( If you do not know these things, Satan will get the advantage over you.

ANY TIME YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES ARE OPEN THEY WILL PUSH YOU OUT OF SOME CHURCHES:

The blind man was not put out of the assemble until when Jesus open his eyes. Every thing was ok when he was blind. Some people do not want you around if you have sense.

John 9:24-AV Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. John 9:25-AV He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner [or no], I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. John 9:26-AV Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? John 9:27-AV He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear [it] again? will ye also be his disciples? John 9:28-AV Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. John 9:29-AV We know that God spake unto Moses: [as for] this [fellow], we know not from whence he is. John 9:30-AV The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and [yet] he hath opened mine eyes. John 9:32-AV Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. John 9:33-AV If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. John 9:34-AV They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

2 Corinthians 11:13-AV For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14-AV And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:15-AV Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

1 Corinthians 2:12-AV Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

TWO DIFFERENT GROUPS OF DEMONS

One group cry out that Jesus is lord.

Luke 4:41-AV And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking [them] suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. )( Not because you see people jumping and crying out and shouting the name of Jesus do not be too turned on by that. Just praise God with them.

GROUP TWO

One group of devils is crying out that Jesus is lord, while another group is calling Jesus accursed. This is to confused new believers, causing them to jump out of the frying pan into the fire.

1 Corinthians 12:3-AV Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.)(

1 John 4:1-AV Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

MAN CANNOT REVEALED GOD TO YOU. ONLY GOD CAN REVEAL HIMSELF

Psalms 27:8-AV [When thou saidst], Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Jeremiah 29:13-AV And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Hebrews 11:6-AV But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

DO NOT STRING OUT ON GOD.

Matthew 6:7-AV But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Matthew 6:8-AV Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.)( Do not string out on God. Saying "God give me this give me that" If you are serving God for stuff your faith will fail soon. God know what you need even before you ask him.
